Blind rivets

Blind rivets are designed to connect two (or more) surfaces. During the riveting process, a strong, secure connection is formed. A large selection of materials and sizes of rivets allows you to choose exactly the model that is optimal for a specific task.

When choosing the optimal rivet, the diameter is selected depending on the expected loads on the resulting joint, the length depends on the thickness of the package of bonded materials.

Blind rivet consists of two main parts: the body of the rivet and the extraction rod, which is needed for the one-way installation of this fastener.

The rivet body can be made of galvanized, stainless steel, aluminum and other alloys. The extraction rod is made of galvanized steel, with the exception of some special rivets.

There are different types of blind rivets: closed (sealed), petal, split, reinforced, RAL-colored and many others.

Installation of the rivet is by means of a special riveting tool.

* The stainless steel rivet of the German manufacturer, GOEBEL, comes with a notch on the rod, which reduces the load on the tool when the stem is torn off. By doing this, the rivet will last longer, with minimal wear and maximum performance.

Materials of blind rivets

Structural rivets are the simplest solution when an extremely strong connection is needed. They provide a wide grip range, high strength, and an exceptional clamping force. They have the distinctive function of a mechanical lock, which provides a 100% retention of the mandrel. The rivet is designed for heavy loads, high resistance to vibration, watertight (sealed). The reinforced M-LOCK rivet, in contrast to the GO-LOCK rivet, has an even greater resistance to vibrations and high loads. To install high-strength blind rivets "M-LOCK" on the instrument a special nozzle should be used.

During installation, a strong fixation of the rod inside the rivet housing is ensured, due to incisions. For particularly high demands on tension and shear. Do not damage the connected parts. Provides a tight sealed connection, resistance to vibration. The strengthened rivet PREMIUM-LOCK, unlike the rivet GO-LOCK / M-LOCK, is perfect for thin sheet material.

Rivet H-LOCK structural reinforced for thin sheet material. It is intended for sheet metal, including in combination of various types of materials (aluminum, steel, stainless steel, plastic).
